Larissa and Jeff’s wedding day dawned with a sense of serenity in Deity’s spacious bridal suite. “We chose Deity because we wanted a very Brooklyn vibe to our whole day,” the couple shared. “You just can’t beat this space: the exposed brick, the lighting, the vintage feel of the bridal suite, the speakeasy-like atmosphere of the cellar, and the gorgeous building were exactly what we wanted.”
The day began with a unique touch – a morning meditation session with their closest friends. This peaceful start in our suite set the tone for a day filled with mindfulness and love. The versatile space proved perfect for intimate moments throughout the day, including a heartwarming first look with close family and friends. “We’d say the bridal suite is a must; it’s gorgeous and it added so much to the day to get ready there and have a first look,” Larissa gushed in her review.
A Touching and Unique Ceremony
As guests gathered for the ceremony, they were greeted by a stunning sight in our main event space. The altar, adorned with elegant white flowers, created a timeless and romantic atmosphere. Larissa’s bouquet, featuring vibrant yellow sunflowers, added a cheerful pop of color that perfectly reflected her joyous energy. A particularly heartwarming moment was when Jeff walked down the aisle with their beloved dog, Simba, adding a personal touch that guests will never forget.
The ceremony began with a one-minute meditation that centered everyone’s hearts and minds on the moment. This serene start set the tone for a deeply meaningful celebration of love. A family member then read ‘All I Know About Love’ by Neil Gaiman before Jeff and Larissa read their heartfelt vows, leaving hardly a dry eye in the house. In a touching departure from tradition, instead of saying “I do” individually, Larissa and Jeff chose to jointly proclaim “We do” when asked if they would cherish each other until the end.
Before the ceremony concluded, friends of the couple came forward to read another passage, inviting everyone to join hands in a powerful moment of unity. The words resonated through the room: “Joining hands, we become a circle. Complete, connected, and timeless. We are whole but not exclusive. Omg delicious!’ Larissa exclaimed in her review. ‘The guests raved about the staff, the food, the space, the DJ, and the bartenders.’ The culinary delights were just the beginning of an unforgettable evening.
After dinner was served, Larissa and Jeff’s guests were treated to an unexpected and thrilling surprise. A friend of the couple took center stage, delivering a jaw-dropping performance as a Taylor Swift impersonator, performing her hit ‘Mastermind.’ This unique entertainment had everyone cheering and added an extra layer of excitement to the already joyous atmosphere.

I am enough, and I’m always seen, and in the end my truest words are unoriginal, plain and simple, Jeff, you are the love of my life, and I am humbled to be your wife.
