Jamie and Bobby were looking for a unique space that could host an intimate wedding of their family and friends. Since Micro Weddings are uncommon at other Brooklyn Wedding Venues, they quickly stumbled upon Deity Events in their wedding venue search.
Touring Deity for a Micro Wedding
On that mild October day, Jamie traveled from queens and Bobby from Staten Island for their tour. We noticed Jamie and Bobby felt connected to the Deity venue right away, saying “wow” at every corner. We were so grateful for the compliments on the space, but we know when booking a wedding venue there is so much more to consider than just the overall look. We were excited to hear back just a few days later that they wanted to host their Micro Wedding at Deity and that’s where our work begun!
Review of a Micro Wedding at Deity
What we loved about Jamie and Bobby’s wedding at Deity was that they really played to the time of year they were getting married. April is the beginning of spring. It always feels like a budding romance in the city. They incorporated that into their wedding design with soft colors and flowers. They also hung greenery from the loft ceiling which really felt like when the trees in the park finally come to bloom. Jamie wore a gorgeous gown with organza fabric and a minimalist design matching the entire spring motif. Bobby stood proudly in an perfectly tailored tux with boutonniere to match the spring affair.
Micro Wedding Venue and Service
Deity was an amazing venue for our small (under 80 people) wedding! We were floored by the exceptional service the hosts and staff provided from beginning our wedding planning through to our big day. Deity hosts and staff were beyond superb in providing top-quality service and hospitality.
Catering at Deity
The food was the best food that I have ever had the pleasure of eating at any weddings and they truly made wedding planning easy, smooth, and very manageable.
