In the age of social media, it’s hard to make weddings feel unique these days? While couples typically have the best intentions for being original in their wedding planning it’s honestly tough to execute. That’s why we want to show case Kieu-nhi and Michael’s Brooklyn wedding as an exemplary wedding for striking that perfect balance of a well-run wedding with a completely unique feeling. We are excited for you to read some tips and quotes from bride, Kieu-nhi about planning a wedding with personal touches at an all inclusive wedding venue.
Unique Brooklyn Wedding Venue
It sounds simple enough, but finding a unique wedding venue is a good place to start when trying to plan a wedding day that stands out. Many couples will tell you, this piece of wedding planning is easier said than done. In a world where corporations make everything feel homogenous, Deity’s historic charm is a breath of fresh air. “Each floor has a purpose and accompanying vibe to match – the bridal suite is relaxing and picturesque (highly recommend adding this to your day for an added cost), the cocktail lounge is dreamy, the ceremony loft (and dinner space) is bright yet cozy, and the basement dance floor is funky and fun.”
However, sometimes the unique wedding venues that aren’t accustom or equipped to handle big events can be toughest to plan in. This is why Deity Events is a true gem in the wedding venue landscape. “Because the venue was already beautifully designed and all inclusive, the only things we needed to provide for the ceremony/reception were signage (welcome, table arrangements, his/her drinks), minimal décor/flowers (we hired a florist for the ceremony arch and did bud vases for the tables and they turned out beautiful), and dessert.” Since the big ticket items are handled by the Deity Wedding Venue you get to put your energy into the personal touches.
Kieu-nhi and Michael’s Unique Wedding Ideas
Kieu-nhi and Michael had an instant noodle bar at the end of the night and it was a huge hit! The signage said “Free Noodz” and was a cheeky and fun way to end the night. Something our wedding venue had never even seen before. Another adorable touch were the table numbers that were pictures of Michael and Kieu-nhi at that age printed on the table number. So adorable!

Can Your Wedding be Original at an All-Inclusive Wedding Venue? Yes!
Kieu-nhi says what many are thinking, “Some (including me) may be nervous about all-inclusive venues, however the Deity Wedding Venue was so accommodating to the little ways in which we wanted to make our wedding unique, such as incorporating cultural outfit changes into the schedule to setting up a late-night instant noodle bar.”
What’s great about an all-inclusive wedding venue, especially when you are trying to make sure guests have a new experience, is that you can afford to focus on those details that are going to set your wedding a part. Afford, as in actual dollars budgeted, as well as time and effort. If you book an all-inclusive venue that is amenable to what you are envisioning, your wedding venue can take care of a lot of the big ticket items and complicated dynamics in coordinating a wedding. That should free you up to create the interesting signatures that accent your wedding day and truly make it feel like your own.
“After we toured the venue, we knew Deity was special. The pricing was very transparent and super reasonable considering everything that’s included – the venue (lounge, loft, and basement), day-of coordinator, food, $50 bar credit pp, basic décor package, and DJ. The space is gorgeous and so unique, unlike any other venue we’ve attended as guests or toured. Each floor has a purpose and accompanying vibe to match – the bridal suite is relaxing and picturesque (highly recommend adding this to your day for an added cost), the cocktail lounge is dreamy, the ceremony loft (and dinner space) is bright yet cozy, and the basement dance floor is funky and fun.
Finally, Anna, the coordinator included with the venue, was a godsend. She made the whole wedding planning process so much easier, patiently answered all my random questions, and provided guidance where needed.”

Kieu-nhi and Michael’s Deity Wedding Recount
“Our family and friends were blown away by the bridal suite. We were relaxed the whole morning while getting ready and got some beautiful photos to start off the day. Once the day started rolling, Anna and the whole Deity team were on top of everything. They made sure everyone was on schedule but also were flexible with last minute changes, even making sure my husband and I had private moments to ourselves. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had so many guests compliment the cocktail hour bites and dinner service, even our very picky grandma said it was the best salmon she’s ever had. The drinks were flowing and we had guests commenting on how drink service on the dance floor was genius – everyone could continue dancing and no one was ever waiting with an empty glass. Also, my husband and I were initially nervous about an in-house DJ because we are very picky with music but DJ BenHaMeen was amazing, listened to our wants and needs, and kept the dancefloor lively (our photographer even complimented the music!).
All in all, we cannot recommend Deity Wedding Venue enough. Our guests are still asking if we can have a wedding there every year (we wish!).”
