Mallory and Stu were hands down the sweetest people we’ve ever worked with. When we got to meet their family it all made sense. Everyone was so kind and loving. You could really feel the warm love that surrounded them in their lives. It’s the kind of environment everyone hopes for when creating a union and growing a family. We are truly honored we got to host this great group for a one of a kind wedding.
As Deity has historical routes as a jewish synagogue we really get a kick out of hosting modern jewish couples. It feels full circle. While the traditions haven’t changed much the style has and we love seeing the evolution. Lucky for us Mallory and Stu had just as good of time as we did at their wedding. Here’s what they had to say about their perfect day at Deity Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Wedding Planning
By far the best decision we made was to have our wedding at Deity Brooklyn. We viewed the wedding venue after a coworkers recommendation and loved how beautiful and unique the the venue was. The pricing was very straightforward and fit within our budget so we booked our date during our initial tour. From that moment on, Anna was our contact and she was so easy and wonderful to work with. We had countless emails back and forth over these last few months and she was always so kind and professional.
Brooklyn Wedding Day
Then our wedding day came and I was just honestly so blown away! I had already liked Anna but after our wedding it’s now love! Anna and the staff were absolutely amazing at every single part of a very busy day. She made sure we had everything we needed in the right place for the reception/ceremony, things no one else remembered. I would look for something and it was already set up and done! She and the rest of the staff made the day absolutely seamless and so stress free.
Brooklyn Catering
The food was so delicious, we received so many compliments on both the cocktail hour and dinner. Even our photographer who’s done over 50 weddings there said the food was the best he’s had there to date. Everything was packed up so neatly for us to take home at the end of the night. I had mentioned maybe changing into another dress for the reception and when I decided it was time my second dress and shoes were already waiting for me ready to go. Anna even bustled my dress for me after the ceremony! By that point she felt like part of our wedding party! Our guests loved the space and how unique and beautiful it looked. Moving to different rooms really creates different vibes throughout the night.
Wedding Suite Experience
The suite/roof really added to our experience that day too. It was such a roomy and beautiful space for our whole family to get ready and spend time together. We got so many great pictures on the roof with the city skyline. It ended up being a beautiful day but in the weeks leading up to our big day weather was not really a concern of ours being that everything is inside.
I really can’t say enough good things about the space and the staff!!! It could not have gone any better! It really was the best day and I have everyone there to thank for that. 1000000/10!
