What is more Modern these days than a Wedding postponed (a few times) due to the Worldwide Pandemic? Fortunately, the big day finally arrived for this New York City couple and the their concept of “Modern” was integrated in beautiful fashion with their attention to detail. Intimate Wedding Venue Deity provided the perfect backdrop for this ultra-chic affair. Striking floral arrangements were created by FDK. The hottest new hotel in Brooklyn The Ace Hotel housed the couple and guests. And what else can we say but “Wow” when you see the Bride in that dress by Danielle Frankel! All of this was artistically captured Eric Perez de Tagle. Read what this Modern Love couple had to say about their Wedding Day:

Describe your wedding day:
It was a perfect combination of all the elements coming together. The ease of the day, the layout of the venue, all of our friends and family coming together and the ceremony and reception. Hard to really sum of the day as a whole when the photos can really do the speaking for us.

Was there something that surprised you on your wedding day?
A little bit of rain on our walk to the venue from the Ace Hotel, which was a nice little touch of good luck.
If you had to pick one favorite memory from that day what would that be?
The memories that were the most ingrained in our mind was the ceremony (officiated by my Brian’s cousin Ashley Levering) and just how beautiful everything was set by Deity and our florists. The moment that followed where Jess and I had our quiet time to take a deep breath was super important as well.

Whose help did you enlist the most?
We really relied on ourselves for the most part, but the bride maids and our vendors were a huge help. Deity really took a lot of the pressure off of having to worry about anything.
What was your crowd like?
Our crowd was extremely diverse, we had those that loved to dance and those that were happy standing on the side.
Looking back at our photos and video, it looked like everyone managed to get some dancing in.

Was there a particular detail that a vendor did for you that was special?
The new Ace Hotel allowed us to shoot our ‘First Look’ throughout the brand new hotel, the week of their opening while we were staying there.
How did you find and decide on Deity as your Wedding Venue?
We were referred from a colleague of Jessica’s
