Joyful Wedding Day in Brooklyn

What can we say about a Wedding in 2021 other than how jubilant having a Wedding at all is! This Deity NYC Wedding couple gives us all the feels! From their adorable “No Looking First Touch” to their gorgeous flowers by Rosehip Social to their very emotional first dance. Captured by the multi-talented David Perlman Photography. We asked the Bride some questions about their very special big day. This is what she had to say in her own words:

Describe your wedding day relaxed, fun, joyful, warm- the best day of our lives.

Was there something that surprised you on your wedding day? How relaxed I was!  I really had such a wonderful time the entire day!

If you had to pick one favorite memory from that day what would that be? Our first touch when we couldn’t see each other and how excited and nervous we were but also how happy each of our days had been with our friends and family the moments leading up to that point.   And then the truly exciting moments waiting for the guests to gather in the ceremony space- assembled behind the curtain with the wedding party- listening to the band.  When Alex walked in and everyone erupted into applause and cheering- i’m tearing up now just thinking about it.

Whose help did you enlist the most?  Caio! (of Deity) He was so helpful in every way.  His attitude, his aura, really wonderful to work with.  And the special attention he put towards my mother, really really touched my heart and the rest of our family noticed too.

How did you find and decide on Deity as your Wedding Venue? Used to go to Deity back in the day when it was a club.  When I did a search of brooklyn wedding venues and it came up I thought that it would be such a cool space to have a wedding at. It ended up being the only place we looked at because it was exactly what we wanted.

Was there a particular detail that a vendor did for you that was special? David Perlman and his team were so wonderful to work with.  I was really amazed at all the candid moment they were able to capture that really encapsulated the feeling of the day.

What was your crowd like? Dancing crowd? Foodies?  Caio told us that we had the highest bar tab of any he’s seen in a long long time.  That should tell you something!  HA!

Thanks to the Vendors!
