Classic Brooklyn Wedding

This classic style Wedding at Deity Brooklyn Event Venue was a day full of love and joy. We are so in love with this big day,  captured by MelRose Photography. Adding to the romance was beautiful fresh florals Stem’s Brooklyn. Personal touches like Brooklyn neighborhood seating chart and custom painted leather jacket for the bride made the day even more intimate. And this may be one of our favorite “First Look”s we have ever witnessed! We caught up with the couple about their touching Wedding. In their own words….

Describe your big day: Crazy. Perfect. Wonderful. All of the love that has ever existed. Fun. Beautiful. Long. Short. The most magical day of our lives. Our favorite day.

Was there something that surprised you on your wedding day? How long and how short the day was. Unexpected guests. How much people had fun. How little drama.

If you had to pick one favorite memory from that day what would that be? Our first look. The vows and kiss. Our private moment during cocktail hour.

Whose help did you enlist the most?  Melissa (MOH). MOB. Deity. Karl (of Deity)

What was your crowd like? Dancing crowd? Foodies? Very mixed. People who just wanted to have a good time and eat good food. Some people from / used to New York, and some who had rarely it never been to Brooklyn before.

Was there a particular detail that a vendor did for you that was special? All of our vendors made us feel special. Stefanie Hurtado (film) went above & beyond. She really became like family on our wedding day. We are obsessed with her.

How did you find and decide on Deity as your Wedding Venue? During our first search through I was getting a little discouraged because everything seemed so expensive for the bare minimum- like a warehouse for an obscene price that you then had to outsource every single other thing. Then Deity popped up and from the photos we were in love. It was the one & only venue we went to. We walked in and instantly knew that this was our venue. And we are so lucky. Deity is the most incredible space filled with the most incredible humans.

Thanks to all of the awesome vendors!
