“Shareeza & Adam joined the list of another amazing wedding at one of our favorite venues, Deity in Brooklyn, NY. The first level, typically used for the ceremony boosts exposed brick, hardwood floors and window lined walls, while the lower level offers decor reminiscent of a swanky jazz club with padded leather walls and dimmed lighting.
Our photographers started with Shareeza as she prepped at The Hotel Indigo on Duffield Street in Brooklyn. She wore a beautiful form fitted white lace wedding dress paired with a cathedral length veil. The happy bride toasted with her bridesmaids and enjoyed a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne before heading over to Deity for the ceremony. The warm September day cast a warm glow into the space and offered everyone a great view of the personalized vows (and most importantly, the first kiss!).
Dumbo Brooklyn; now under major development to renovate old warehouses and beautify the parks; is a favorite of many couples because of the numerous photo opportunities. Cobble stone streets, gorgeous views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge, the historical Jane’s Carousel and even One Girl Cookies on Main Street have served as the backdrop to hundreds of weddings and engagement shoots alike. So it was no surprise that Shareeza and Adam wanted to take advantage of the great weather and head to our old neck of the woods.
In the meantime the ceremony space at Deity was transformed into an elegant reception room, complete with glowing candles, colorful boutiques and personalized touches from the Bride and Groom.
The day ending with dancing and celebrations for the newly married couple and our team was so happy to have been a part of it.”
