Amber and Harvey were an extremely fun couple that got to host at our Brooklyn Wedding Venue, Deity Events, this past Fall. We loved the greenery they used for their sweetheart table and beautiful arch in the ceremony space, by June Florist. We also adored the creative use of calligraphy as artistic backdrop as they said their vows.
This is what the Bride had to say about their big day: “Our wedding was an intimate joy filled day. We were surrounded by people that support us and believe in our union. It was a brunch wedding so the food and drinks were a perfect combination for a lovely Saturday evening.
A huge surprise to us was when my cousin in law decided to dedicate a song and sing it acapella for us. I also loved that Deity accommodated us with the beautiful Bridal Suite the night before! I felt like ROYALTY. Spanglish Studios provided us with a special couple photoshoot session after the wedding. The session took place in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
One favorite memory was when we sat down together to share our first meal as husband and wife. It was just the two of us and no one else. Another favorite memory was when we danced with our parents. Our crowd was also full of foodies. They also loved dancing while they sipped on something delicious.”
“I am so thankful I had the help of my parents, grandparents, and Deity Events! They helped with a lot of the logistics and flow of the day. We heard about Deity from a family friend who had recommended it and then I read reviews on it on THE KNOT. After I had a tour of the venue I knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding to take place. I also loved how organized and detail oriented they are. They explained the key details that needed to be addressed in order for the wedding day to be seamless. The wedding venue was dynamic yet beautiful. I loved that fact that the setting changed for the reception , ceremony , and dinner. To me it makes the experience more memorable.
Deity Events was a beautiful venue to host our Brooklyn Wedding. They provided us with an amazing day of manager that listened to our desires as well as our concerns and help create a wedding that still leaves me speechless.She met with us about two months before the wedding to go through everything and had a positive/confident plan for our wedding day. They made great recommendations as far as how to have the flow of the wedding go.
The Deity DJ they chose played all the music we wanted new how to transition from the ceremony to the reception. Food was great! We had a brunch menu with lobster rolls and chicken and waffles as starters. Overall it was a positive experience I would recommend to anyone.”
